Cynoia is an all-in-one productivity platform built specifically for teams — replacing Slack, Asana, Zoom, Trello, and CRM tools with a single lightweight workspace. It unifies communication, task management, calendars, video meetings, finance tools, and AI features under one intuitive interface. The platform is built on a React and MUI frontend with a NestJS backend, MySQL for relational data, and RabbitMQ handling the message queues behind real-time chat and notifications — a stack chosen to keep every module (chat, tasks, CRM, calendar) feeling like one product instead of five integrations bolted together.

The Challenge
Cynoia's platform was growing fast, and growth was surfacing the cost of building chat, tasks, CRM, and calendar as separate modules over time. Each one had its own visual language, its own interaction patterns, and its own performance profile, because each had originally shipped as a standalone feature rather than part of a single designed system. The result: users switching between modules felt like they were switching between different products, mobile-network users on lower-bandwidth connections saw real load-time pain, and every new feature took longer to ship because there was no shared component library to build from. Cynoia needed a full design system, a performance pass across every module, and a real information architecture — not another feature bolted onto the existing structure.

Our Approach
Our agency reimagined Cynoia across design, structure, and performance with a comprehensive strategy: audit first, then a shared design system, then a module-by-module rebuild against it, rather than a visual refresh layered over the existing architecture. Every module was redesigned against the same Cynoia UI 2.0 component library — over 50 shared components and 200+ icons — so a change to a button or a color token propagates everywhere instead of needing to be re-applied module by module. Performance work ran in parallel: lazy-loading each module so the initial page load only pays for what a user actually opens, mobile-first rendering, and explicit low-bandwidth optimizations, since a meaningful share of Cynoia's users are on slower mobile networks.
