Every engagement is governed by written acceptance criteria agreed before work begins. Deliverables are measured against those criteria, and work continues until they are met. Invoicing is tied to milestone acceptance rather than time elapsed, so payment follows verified delivery.

Engagements run on fixed review checkpoints, so quality is assessed continuously rather than at handover. Points raised at a checkpoint are resolved within that milestone. Where expectations diverge, the gap is documented against the agreed criteria and corrected before the next milestone begins.

We begin with a technical assessment covering architecture risk, delivery constraints and priorities, issued as a written report. A short paid pilot over a defined set of tasks is also available, which lets you evaluate code quality, communication and delivery pace against real work before a larger commitment.

Risk is addressed in sequence. We first stabilize the existing MVP or prototype, then work with your CTO on architecture and scalability decisions, and with the founder on sequencing the highest-impact features. Scope is deliberately constrained: the objective is a product that can be operated and extended, not one that demonstrates unnecessary technical breadth.

Yes. Progress reporting is part of the engagement rather than a courtesy. You receive scheduled updates and milestone reviews covering completed work, upcoming work, and any risks or technical debt identified during the period.

Minor adjustments are absorbed within the current milestone. Material changes are handled as a documented change request setting out the effect on timeline and cost, which is approved before any work proceeds against it.

Yes. An engagement can begin with a single milestone or a defined initial phase. This establishes delivery pace and working process on a limited budget before the scope of the wider engagement is fixed.

Estimates account for integration work, edge cases and known unknowns rather than the optimistic path, which is why they hold. Dates are agreed once that analysis is complete. Where a risk emerges that threatens a date, it is raised at the point it is identified, not at the deadline.
